The San Francisco 49ers announced they have signed cornerback Derrick Canteen to a three-year contract. To make room on the roster, the team waived safety Quindell Johnson.

The players who remain unsigned are the trio of defensive lineman they selected, including their first two picks of the draft, and seventh-round quarterback Kurtis Rourke. Defensive linemen Mykel Williams and Alfred Collins are both without contracts for now. DL CJ West, a fourth-round choice, is also unsigned.

The 49ers announced a number of roster moves on Friday afternoon, including the addition of veteran offensive tackle Andre Dillard.
