The second game of a three-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies was postponed on Tuesday because of inclement weather.

Forecasted rain in the Philadelphia area has led to the Phillies postponing their game Tuesday night against the St. Louis Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies and Cardinals will instead play a split day/night doubleheader on Wednesday.

The Phillies postponed Tuesday night’s game against the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park because of rain. The teams will play a split doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Cardinals right-hander Erick Fedde will face Phillies left-hander Jesús Luzardo in Game 1.

It’s Tuesday, May 13 and the Cardinals (23-19) are in Philadelphia to take on the Phillies (24-17). Sonny Gray is slated to take the mound for St. Louis against Jesús Luzardo for Philadelphia.

The St. Louis Cardinals face the Philadelphia Phillies Monday in the opener of a 3-game set at Citizens Bank Park.
