The Los Angeles Dodgers have lost another starting pitcher to injury. Prized right-hander Roki Sasaki has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement, the team announced Tuesday.

He told the team his arm was sore after his last start in which he pitched on five days rest for the first time in the majors. Sasaki threw four innings and gave up five runs on 61 pitches Friday at Arizona.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said pitcher Roki Sasaki reported feeling sore after making his first MLB start following five days of rest.
