Drone footage reveals the devastating aftermath in London, Kentucky, where a deadly tornado left a trail of destruction, downed power lines, and shattered homes as part of a violent storm system that swept through the central US.

Tornadoes and sever storms hit several parts of the US on Friday, leaving at least 23 dead and thousands of buildings damaged.

The storm was the latest severe weather to cause deaths and widespread damage in Kentucky. Two months ago at least 24 people died in a round of storms that swelled creeks and submerged roads.
