Police said a preliminary report indicated a vehicle crashed into another vehicle parked near a group of pedestrians.

Kansas City Chiefs fans braved the cold in the Power & Light District to celebrate the team's playoff win with other fans. KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs fans bundled up and braved the cold to attend an AFC Divisional Game watch party at the Power & Light District.

The Chiefs will host the "Arrowhead Invitational," also known as the AFC Championship Game, for the sixth time in seven seasons on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Chiefs vs. Texans divisional round playoff game won't be quite as cold as Kansas City's playoff opener last year, but it will be below freezing.

The AFC Championship game will be held at Arrowhead Stadium at 6:30 p.m. ET (5:30 CT) on Sunday, January 26, 2025. The Chiefs will square off against the winner of Sunday night’s competition between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens. A crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 just past U.S. 40 Highway caused emergency crews to close the two left lanes of the highway. Emergency responders said the crash involved multiple vehicles. Police are directing traffic coming out of Arrowhead to help control the congestion.

The Chiefs, seeking the first Super Bowl three-peat, will host the AFC Championship Game for the sixth time in the last seven years.
