Former Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec has a new home after signing a minor league deal with the Brewers. Milwaukee assigned him to Triple-A Nashville. The White Sox designated Dalbec for assignment May 4. He elected free agency two days later after he cleared through waivers and Chicago outrighted him.

The Red Sox signed Alex Bregman to a contract this offseason and in doing so, apparently alienated their most important player.

Hauser suffered the ankle injury in the third quarter of Game 1. He was a surprise DNP-CD in the first half but got the call in the third quarter to see action. However, he turned his ankle while contesting an OG Anunoby 3-point shot and needed help leaving the game and walking to the locker room.
