President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rekindle their bond during tour of Alligator Alcatraz processing facility in the Everglades.

Florida lawmakers argued state law grants elected officials access to inspect state-operated facilities without approval, but the Florida Division of Emergency Management denied their request.

President Trump on Tuesday toured the site of a new immigration detention center in South Florida that state officials are calling "Alligator Alcatraz." Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem are visiting the facility alongside the president.
