The Chinese-owned company said it would cut off its services unless the U.S. assures Apple, Google and other companies that they would not be punished for hosting and distributing TikTok.

It turns out TikTok is just as confused as the rest of us after a Supreme Court ruling this morning. SCOTUS upheld a law that would see the popular app with 170+ million U.S. users banned on Sunday. That happens to be the last day of the Biden administration,

"We see no reason for TikTok or other companies to take actions in the next few days before the Trump administration takes office on Monday," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Saturday.
