Despite that shuffling, Benedict’s story is next on deck for Season 4. During a February event held in London, current showrunner Jess Brownell teased that the forthcoming season is the “ Bridgerton” season most “faithful ” to the respective novel, and one that will kick off with a masquerade ball.

Netflix has renewed "Bridgerton" for two more seasons. In addition to the news that seasons 5 and 6 have been greenlit, the streaming platform announced that season 4 of "Bridgerton" will premiere in 2026. The announcement was made in a letter from Lady Whistledown that the official "Bridgerton" account shared on Instagram.
