The family of a Dawson County couple and their two sons, who died over the weekend in a triple murder-suicide, say years of mental health struggles and gaps in care contributed to the tragedy.

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday night near A Street and Cherry Street on the north side of Blue Springs.
